When must the tax return be submitted?
Once the financial year has ended, the tax return can be submitted. According to the tax authorities, this can be done between March 1 and May 1 after the financial year has ended. However, we request an extension. This means we have until May 1 of the following year.

How do I make sure The Bookie has the correct information to file my return?
During the year, you have kept your administration in The Bookie web app and filled in all your personal and business details. With this information, we can request authorizations. However, we also need additional data. To collect this, we make a questionnaire available every year on February 14. This questionnaire also serves as your request for us to prepare your tax return.

How long does it take for The Bookie to file my tax return?
At The Bookie we work with a queue system: first come, first served.
After completing the form and providing all required information, you are placed in the queue. Once it is your turn, we will contact you if anything is missing. After preparing and sending your draft report, we submit your return after your approval.
In this case, you will pay, as is standard when accounting firms handle your tax return, tax interest. However, you can prevent or minimize this by:
a provisional assessment,
a provisional tax return, or
moving ahead in the queue (see below).
Urgent: move ahead in the queue
Do you need your tax return faster? For example, to avoid interest or because you need it for something? We can schedule extra hours to prepare and submit your tax return sooner. We charge an additional 25% of your annual subscription for this.

How much does it cost when The Bookie files my tax return?
Subscription with The Bookie
Did you have an active subscription during the financial year of the tax return? Then we have likely already handled (part of) your VAT returns, and you have already partially prepaid for your income tax return. You will receive an invoice for the remaining portion of the annual subscription based on your revenue.
Not yet a customer of The Bookie
If we need to file a tax return for a year in which you were not yet a customer, we charge a fixed fee.
